John's Summary The title refers to the constructions of an exhibition space in the second story of a downtown L.A. building. I incorporated the freight elevator, the workers, dry walling, and an old thrown away couch to aesthetize the new space. I utilized a ballet dancer to symbolize the potential beauty of the space. The piece was based on stories that occurred on the site before my performance. It was during this piece that I announced my retirement. | |
