John's Summary
This work was both a static and non-static performance art and sculptural piece. A couch was used as the primary source material. The couch's pattern, springs, seats, and structure were manipulated aesthetically to create an installation piece. The performance piece used the couch as a prop to retell stories and involve the audience in a comfortable "at home" setting.
